Spirit of Renewal Ode to Samhain
Spirit of Renewal (Ode to Samhain)
By Arianna
Renewal comes to us as the skeletons in our closet bearing the bones of our ancestors who loved the Land with such passion they made love in Her name every full moon.
Renewal comes to us on the winds of change blowing through us, reminding us we are the ones we have been waiting for to bridge Land and Sea, left and right, neighbor and stranger, rose and bee, breath and flame.
Renewal comes to us in the embers of our forsaken dreams that we can no longer turn away from. We must fan the fires of our desires and live our true forms.
Renewal comes to us in the waters of life when we finally let the river take us and we become one with the flow.
Renewal comes when we stand in the center, uniting the Elements, and feel the Divine all around us snd within us.
So yes, yes, rest if you must. It is Samhain after all and winter is coming.
And then …
Let us begin.
For Joy dwells in a heart filled with gratitude and a soul recognizing blessings.
And isn’t that the way a life is best lived?
